REMARKS FOR FEBRUARY - JULY 2010
Unfortunately, owing to the ever increasing costs involved in running the business (CPI; fuel - especially diesel; etc), we have had to increase the
 fees slightly. I am sure you (well, most of you),  will agree the fees are still very reasonable, and have been kept at a minimum, and we thank you in
anticipation of your continued business and support.

Our courier fee includes (with the exception of a few shows which the courier fee is marked #), collection from a nominated
depot or home; delivery to an exhibition; and return of any unsold works (if any), of up to three paintings (unless marked #),
not exceeding 106cm X 153cm (3'6" x 5'), per artist, with a small fee for larger paintings & extra works.

For most exhibitions, it is not necessary for you to wrap the works. The paintings are wrapped individually by us for transit.

        *  SYDNEY ROYAL ARTS SHOW: For the 2010 Show, a compulsory processing fee of $8 (incl GST) was payable per exhibitor
per competition where Applications for Entry are submitted to the RAS by post.

   * CAMBERWELL ART SHOW (Victoria): For the A.C.T. & South Coast artists, due to the erlier date this year and severe
restriction of our time scale, our collection site this year will be from our depots at "Arthead", 358 Auburn Street, GOULBURN
very early on the Tuesday morning 25th May. Please have your works there within a couple days prior to this date.

Please note this show is only on over three days this year. This is really  "The Show" to enter, or to visit. It is the largest traditional art show in Australia.

   * IRONFEST 2010 INAUGURAL:  The coordinators state: "Challenge or inspire us....we offer you 2.4 x 2 metres of hanging
space/display are for the 3 days duration of the festival, you come and display your work and sell and promote it to the Ironfest
crowd. As we at Ironfest are inspired by personal interactions and connections, we would encourage you to attend the festival
as much as possible (this will increase your sales too! Yor exhibition fee covers your entry)".

        *  SINGLETON ART PRIZE: Is endeavouring to email out as many entries as they can.

        *  CAMDEN ART PRIZE & CENTRAL COAST FESTIVAL OF ARTS EXHIBITION (Wyong): Will not be on this year.

        *  COFFS HARBOUR LILLIPILLI ART & CRAFT SHOW (Formerly known as Coffs Harbour Annual Exhibition: They state
it is the largest show of its kind between Sydney & Brisbane. 22 sections of fine art including youth art, ceramics,
photography, woodwork, glass & fibre craft. (Whether we do this or not, will definitely depend on obtaining sufficient
numbers, so book early if interested.)
We are offering service to both COFFS HARBOUR and PORT MACQUARIE exhibitions for $160.00 (which of course includes
GST and return of any unsolds). 

The above information appeared to be correct at the time of printing but it is advisable to confirm details with the organisers at the time of
obtaining entry form. 
PLEASE book early so we can confirm we have the numbers to service a particular exhibition (especially the distant shows).
The best time to book our service is approximately 4 days prior to sending in your entry form to the relevant exhibition.

There is no guarantee that we will be servicing a particular show just because it is mentioned in the newsletter. 
This information is occasionally just for your information, or we are sometimes unable to obtain the numbers
to make it a viable prposition. If it is suspected that sufficient numbers may not be obtained, we notify you a few
days prior to the entry closing date of the exhibition.

"INVITE ONLY" Generally means new artists are welcome but have firstly to ring,  submit photos or display their works
for preview, so if you are interested, contact the relevant organiser early.
Private shows and special deliveries can be made by arrangement.

Artists are advised to arrange rivate insurance cover for transit & exhibited works if required.

Please support our Depots when you can. They offer us an invaluable service: Their time; space; & expert
knowledge!
